I should probably mention something about these photos, and why I mentioned being "2257-compliant". All of these photos are of me, and I'm 28 years old (I turn 29 later this year). However, as you can see, the latest series of photos of me painted up as a tiger are of me, well, nude. Every one of them is tasteful, every one of them is non-pornographic, and every one of them is artistic. But, under the regulations that define "publishing pornography" (i.e., 18 USC section 2257), any nude photograph at all needs to have proper documentation that the person being photographed is over the age of 18.
However, there is one very important area in which I am /not/ 2257-compliant: I am not posting my address or telephone number. This isn't so much a challenge to the FBI or local law enforcement as it is a medical necessity: I suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, caused by someone stalking me before. I feel, and my therapist agrees, that posting my address and/or telephone number online in association with these photos would be detrimental to my physical, mental, and emotional health.
(I'm almost hoping the FBI does come after me on that technicality -- I would actually like to see if a "medical necessity" defense would suffice, or if I'd go to prison.)
Anyway. This blog is a sort of memoir of my various adventures in life. Any particularly interesting moments that I have, I'll post about, or post photos of.
(And as for the bodypainting: that's Ben Nye Black, Sunburn Stipple, and Clown White. Every time before, when I'd been painted, we'd used airbrushes, and Michael Davy Film and TV prosthetic-grade makeup with "Silicolor" (I think that's a trademark of Michael Davy, but I'm not sure) to hold it in place. This time, we just chose to use standard makeup techniques. My friend Eric Rodman was the makeup artist.)
